We had plans.
Retirement. Travel. Adventures. Places we wanted to see and things we assumed we had plenty of time to do.
Then cancer changed the calendar.
For a while, it was easy to focus on everything that had been interrupted. But eventually we began to understand something important:
A changed plan does not have to mean a lost purpose.
Maybe the road looks different now. Maybe some destinations have changed. Maybe we have to travel more slowly.
But there is still life ahead.
There are still people to love, stories to tell, places to go, and hope to share.
Cancer changed our plans. It didn’t get to steal our purpose.
